Like so many others, I first came to the mountains to get away from the fast pace of city life. The combination of natural beauty and friendly small town atmosphere made Ashe County a perfect fit for me. Since then I have worked tirelessly to learn everything I can about Ashe County. Today, I am considered an expert on the area and what it has to offer.
Shortly after arriving in Ashe County, I established Buyer’s Choice Realty, a firm offering exclusive buyer representation. Over the years, I have worked with hundreds of satisfied buyer clients, finding them the right property while protecting their interests and their wallet. In 2006, I established Mountainscape Realty and we moved to our present location in Jefferson. Since then the firm has expanded while enjoying great success.
I hold degrees in both criminal justice (bachelor) and business administration (masters). I am also a veteran of the United States Air Force and a proud member of the local Jefferson’s Rotary club of which I have served as a past president. I currently serve on many local boards and committees which provide me with an opportunity to give back to the community I love so much.

My wife and I moved here in July of 2004 from Ohio and have found this a wonderful place to raise our family. We now have a 4 year old daughter and another on the way. I had the privilege to be a stay at home dad for 3 years, but decided it was time to get back into the workforce.
I enjoy sports of all types, especially football. My family attends and is active at Jefferson United Methodist Church. I am a volunteer with the Ashe County Free Medical Clinic. We enjoy all the opportunities this community provides from its abundant outdoor recreational activities to the quaint shops and restaurants. The natural beauty and tranquility of this area has captured our hearts.
My hope for my clients is that they may also experience Ashe County and all it has to offer. I pledge to work tirelessly to help you achieve your goals whether that is finding the perfect piece of property that fits your needs and desires or selling your property as you move on to other adventures.

I have lived in Ashe County all my life and figured out at an early age that I always wanted to be here. The natural beauty of the area only complements the easy going and friendly lifestyle that the area has to offer. I am married and have two wonderful boys. I live in Todd and remember riding my bike to the Todd General Store as a kid to buy candy.
Prior to real estate, I worked in sales for several years. I left sales to assist my husband who is a general contractor in our area. While working with new buyers, I realized that I enjoyed helping clients navigate through the complicated process of buying and selling property. As a result , I decided to pursue my real estate license. Since then, I have worked tirelessly for my clients to help them identify their needs and then meet those needs.
In addition to real estate sales, I have quite a bit of experience in Property Management. I currently work in association with High Mountain Cabin Rentals. If you are not quite ready to buy, but would rather rent, or if you are looking to buy a home as an investment and wonder what it’s rental potential would be, please feel free to call on me. It is my goal to be a source of information and a helpful friend to my clients.

I could not think of a more beautiful place to live than here in the High Country of North Carolina. I came to Ashe County with my family in 1998 and currently reside in the Fleetwood area with my wife Christina and our four children. I am an active member of Trinity Baptist Church in Deep Gap and enjoy bowling and spending quality time with family.
I began my real estate career in 2006 after working for 18 years in the printing industry. I became a real estate agent to fulfill my desire to assist folks who had dreams of owning a home in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I am dedicated to each of my clients and am committed to serving their real estate needs.
In addition to serving my clients through Mountainscape Realty, I am also the owner and manager of High Mountain Cabin Rentals. In this capacity I work with clients to market and manage both short and long term rental properties. Whether you are looking to purchase your dream home or if you have property you wish to place in our rental program, I would be more than happy to assist you!

Growing up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, I always took the natural beauty surrounding me for granted. As a child, I often dreamed of the day when I would leave for “greener pastures”. As time passed, I have learned to appreciate how fortunate I am to live in such a special place. There is truly no place like the mountains of North Carolina.
For over 16 years, I worked as a Real Estate Paralegal. I believe those years of experience have given me an advantage in the real estate business. Becoming a real estate broker was a dream that finally came true in early 2009. While I worried about starting a new venture, I had the overwhelming desire to help others find their own little piece of mountain paradise. I truly enjoy meeting new people and introducing them to our area and all it has to offer.
I reside in Alleghany County with my husband of 12 years and my wonderful daughter. I live in an old restored farm house and I am happy to say, that my daughter makes the 5th generation to live in the house. I am proud of my heritage and proud to call this area my home.

I am a NC High Country native, having been born & raised just “over the hill” in Watauga County, at the base of beautiful Grandfather Mountain, in the Foscoe Community. I moved back to Ashe County after 4 years in Charlottesville, VA and Washington, DC. I spent most of my adult life in the Christmas tree and Nursery Business, and started my Real Estate career in the fall of 2003. I live in downtown West Jefferson, and I honestly can’t imagine living anywhere else! I am married to Andrea Aldridge, and between us we have 7 children!
I specialize in Residential and Commercial Real Estate here in the High Country, including Ashe, Watauga and Avery Counties. My strength has always been listening to what my clients needs are, and working with them to help them achieve their goals. It is rare to be in a business that allows one to help others make their dreams come true, but I am fortunate to be able to do just that!
The High Country is truly a special place to be, and I feel fortunate to be able to share this great area with folks like you every day!
